Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu alone will be considered for admission to these courses. The students from other states may be considered for admission as per the regulations and guidelines laid down by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
Candidates of both sexes are admitted. Admissions will be made as per the instructions of Government of Tamil Nadu from time to time.
Candidates for admission shall be required to have passed 10th S.S.L.C Examination (or) The Anglo Indian School Examination with eligibility for Higher Secondary Course in Tamil Nadu (or) any other examination recognized as equivalent to the above by the Board of Secondary Education Tamil Nadu.
Candidate for Direct second year admission should have passed HSC (Academic) or (Vocational) courses, with eligibility for university courses of study.
Candidates who have studied commerce subjects are not eligible for Engineering diploma Course.
